IPMB represents a significant advancement in the integration of traditional gold assets with blockchain technology. It is distinguished as the first token providing direct access to physical gold that is allocated, redeemable, and subject to rollover options aimed at capital appreciation. As a pioneering utility token with underwritten guarantees, IPMB offers its use across global markets and demographics, establishing a versatile financial instrument.

The underlying blockchain mechanism facilitates institutional participation by allowing for straightforward acquisition, custody, and trading of non-fungible tokens (GeMs), each backed by securely stored, individually identified, and segregated gold bars. These GeM tokens symbolize specific quantities of physical gold held securely in top-tier international vaults by IPM Ltd on behalf of their holders.

Concurrently, IPM Ltd issues the IPMB token, which indirectly corresponds to one gram of gold. These tokens are initially backed by unallocated physical gold reserves and provide holders with access to the underlying GeM tokenized gold assets. The conversion process between IPMB and GeM tokens is managed by IPM Ltd and is available upon request at any time.

Designed as proxies for fractional gold holdings, IPMB tokens enable individual investors to participate in the physical gold market through digital assets. These tokens are compatible with standard crypto wallets and can be traded across various platforms, enhancing liquidity and accessibility.
